Children's Religious Education
(a.k.a., "CCD" - Confraternity of Christian Doctrine)

Mary Mother of God Parish provides Religious Education for children in first through eigth grades. Public school children wishing to receive First Eucharist in second grade must begin to attend religious education in the first grade. We are always looking for adults to help out as teachers or teacher's aides.

You must provide your parish envelope number on your registration form. If you are not registered, click the "News" link above to see the time of the next quarterly registration session.

Students in Hillsborough's "TP" program (transitional primary) should begin CCD the following year (when they enter First Grade).

Closing information: Religious Education classes are not held on any day which the Hillsborough public schools are closed or cancelled due to holiday, vacation, or inclement weather. We try to post this information on the main page of our web site as well as on http://www.centraljerseysnow.com. Your child has brought home a class schedule for the year.

Preschool and Kindergarten Enrichment
Preschool is offered for potty trained 3 and 4 year olds. Registration begins in January for the following school year. For more information, view copies of our Preschool brochure or our Kindergarten Enrichment brochure.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA program is designed to welcome adults into our Catholic faith. Preparation begins in September with the goal of receiving the Sacraments of Baptism (for non-Christians), Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist at the Easter Vigil Mass.
