Sacraments

Baptism:
Baptisms are performed every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, at 1:30pm, and during the Noon Mass on the 4th Sunday of the month by special arrangement. Arrangements for Baptisms must be made at least three weeks in advance. Required Baptismal Preparation classes are held once a month, usually on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. See the bulletin for the next date. All parents who will be having children Baptized should call the parish office to make necessary arrangements. When choosing Godparents, please remember that if the Godparent has been baptised Catholic, they must be a practicing Catholic and must obtain a sponsor certificate from the Catholic church where she/he is registered and attends. It is only necessary to have one Catholic Godparent. Please call the parish office if you have any questions.

Marriage:
Diocesan policy requires that arrangements be made at least one year in advance. Attendance at a marriage preparation session is required.

Penance:
Saturdays at 4:00pm, or call the Rectory for an appointment.

First Communion and Confirmation:
Reception of these Sacraments is arranged through the Religious Education program for our first through eigth graders. Public school children wishing to receive First Communion in the second grade (and Confirmation in the eigth grade) must attend religious education class starting in the first grade.
