Dear 8th grade students/parents,
Please DO NOT call SHIP at this time as they are unable to accept ZITI donations. (see below) I'll let you know once they are back in operation.
Deacon Chris.
Dear Friends of SHIP and the Needy,
The basement was totally submerged and 1st floor were under 4 feet of water. Some of the items destroyed include 5 freezers, 2 refrigerators, furnace, hot water heated, Airconditioning, 3 convection ovens, basement ceiling collapsed, phone system, huge cloth’s closet, all commodities and tons of food. In other word’s we were clobbered. We had to hire a company to conduct the extensive clean up and they started 9-7-2021. The estimated cost is $62,000.00.
We are currently unable to receive donations due to the clean-up and disinfecting process. When we are able to reopen and receive donation’s I will contact you.
The Hillsborough Library offers teens the opportunity to volunteer in the library. While teen volunteering is virtual, we are still giving teens the chance to give back to the community. If you have teens (entering grades 6-12) who need service hours and are looking for virtual volunteer opportunities this school year, please feel free to point them to the SCLSNJ website for more information.
